Where are you from?
Born and raised in SoCal
When did you first become interested in wine?
Ever since I can remember, there was always some wine at the table-at lunch the adults would most likely add a splash of club soda..That’s why I don’t have a specific time frame when I became interested. It’s more that it’s always been a part of our daily upbringing …
Tell us about what you do at Doffo Winery. Tasting Room, Apparel, etc.
I’ve had a few different positions here. Everything from Tasting Room Manager to beekeeping..Currently, I would say I lead the creative/design department. I have the privilege of running the remodel as well as helping design the apparel..
What is it like to work with your family?
It’s pretty cool-most of the time lol…I always joke that we actually all really like each other so that helps.
When did you start riding motorcycles?
My dad pretty much sat us on everything that had a motor on it and wanted us to learn how to drive/ride everything we could. We would go to San Felipe,BC Mexico all the time and my dad would cut us loose in the sand. So that was why we started with dirt bikes and ATC’s. I think I was about 6 or 7 when we started taking off on our own. I remember sitting on a phone book learning to drive the Manx buggy – which was a stick shift and that was about 3rd grade. We grew up at the shop so we drove a lot of the random vehicles that would come thru there as well. I loved this Honda Scooter that hauled ass and that really helped create the need for speed…but I’ve driven everything from a cop car to the winery tractor.
